St. Paul's Sesquicentennial

Celebrating 150 Years of Faith and Community

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Winston-Salem · 1876–2026

In 2026, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church celebrates its Sesquicentennial — 150 years of faithful ministry in Winston-Salem. Since our founding in 1876, St. Paul’s has been a place where faith inspires action, love embraces all, and hope points to a brighter future. Throughout this anniversary year, we invite you to join us for a series of special events, guest preachers, retreats, and celebrations that honor our history and look boldly toward our future.

Sesquicentennial Festival Weekend: May 15–17, 2026

Mark your calendar for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration! The Most Rev. Michael B. Curry, former Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, will preach at all Sunday services. The weekend will include:

- A parish banquet and reception

- Service opportunities for the wider community

- A special Evensong in thanksgiving for 150 years of ministry
