The Fourth Sunday of Easter

The Good Book Part 3:
Sunday School Stories Through Grown-Up Eyes
Remember all those Bible stories that you learned as a child? The ones you might be familiar with, even if you did not grow up in church? Stories like Noah’s Ark or Daniel and the Lion’s Den? As memorable as these stories are, do you ever wonder what they are about at a deeper level? They don’t show up in the lectionary often, which can leave the richness of their theological truths unexplored for adult Christians. Join the Rev’d. D. Dixon Kinser for the next part of his ongoing “The Good Book” series, where he explores four famous Sunday School stories (Creation, Cain and Abel, Noah’s Ark, and The Binding of Isaac ) through grown-up eyes.
